Policy, technology, and capability review at Columbia
Nomos Orbital is a space infrastructure company spanning satellite, ground, and cloud systems. Its current software brings infrastructure catalogs, orbital contact calculations, and compute options into one interface, API, and Python SDK.

From research to a working planner
The product spans capability assessment, a planning interface, an API, and a Python SDK. The stack combines Next.js, FastAPI, and PostGIS; SGP4 and Skyfield calculate orbital passes and contact windows.
The workflow compares public satellite catalogs, ground access, and compute options. Each recommendation includes the source records and constraints used to produce it.
Inside the planning workflow
Define the observation or space-data task and the constraints that matter to it.
Calculated contact windows and provider integration
The live product produces ranked, source-backed plans. It distinguishes calculated windows from catalog information and keeps missing provider capabilities visible. Booking infrastructure and executing a mission depend on provider integrations; the planner does not claim those actions have happened.
Users can review and compare a plan before pursuing service access with providers.
